- Write Proposals: Help draft compelling proposals that outline the foundation’s needs and how grant funds will be used.
Utilize Personal Skills and Networks:
- Professional Services: Offer professional services (e.g., graphic design, marketing, consulting) pro bono and suggest clients make a donation to the foundation in lieu of payment.
- Networking: Use personal and professional networks to connect with potential donors, sponsors, or partners.
Create and Sell Merchandise:
- Custom Merchandise: Design and sell branded items like T-shirts, mugs, or tote bags, with proceeds going to the foundation.
- Craft Fairs or Online Stores: Set up a booth at local fairs or an online store to sell these items.
Host Educational and Informational Sessions:
- Workshops or Seminars: Organize educational sessions about the foundation’s cause, with registration fees or donations requested.
- Speakers or Panels: Arrange for speakers or panels to discuss relevant topics and ask for donations from attendees.
Encourage Recurring Donations:

- Matching Gifts: Promote employer matching gift programs where donations are matched by companies.
Volunteer at Existing Events (See SMART Golf):
